ca. 1955 lulac rabbit by Steiff
Ca.1955 steiff Lulac rabbit made of mohair with glass eyes that are bright blue with large black pupils. Lulac has long thin legs and arms with large ears, she has an open mouth that is outlined in black and the inside of the mouth is felt. The nose is stitched with pale pink and outlined in black with her original nylon whiskers. Lulac is made with 3 different types of mohair; short bristle type used on the ears, face and the center front of the body; longer bristle mohair used on the arms, legs and the rest of the body; longer soft mohair used on the paws feet, around the back neck area of the head and on the turned up tail. The mohair is in very good condition there are no rips, tears or holes. Lulac has her steiff ear button but doesn't have the yellow cloth tag or the card disc tag to chest.
