Maritime map reader magnifying glass in original box Ca.1845-1870s I did manage to find some references to the person with the same address.
The magnifying glass belonged to a Edward Lennox Boyd Esq of 35 Cleveland Square, Hyde-Park, W.
His son, Alan Walter Lennox Boyd M.A st John's coll, oxon, a student of the temple 6th Jan 1875 (then aged 19) called to the bar 29th June 1881 only son to Edward Lennox Boyd.
